David Waldner
David Waldner was born and grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario and lived over a decade in Toronto but now has made London, England his home. He has been writing music since he can remember, the urge being there from the beginning, even before he could play an instrument. David's melodic thoughtful songs have a breadth of style from melancholic ballad, through art pop, to punk.
David fronted Toronto bands The Frontier and The Margraves, before releasing his indie album FLICKER which received glowing reviews. Along with scores of shows in Toronto, he has played in festivals and on television in Canada.
In Europe, David has played at venues in London and at the Popkomm Music Festival in Germany. His songs "Going Up Against Goliath" and "Wilderness" have appeared in indie films and "Feelings" has played on London radio's Xfm Unsigned.
Recently, “She’s The One (That Got Away)” has been getting radio airplay in Scotland.
David Waldner has recorded his new album at The Way Studio in London.
